I like my drill presses. I have a few, more than a few. I like older. It isn't clear in the picture, but it is tiny, and VERY precise. I'm not sure if you could fit a 1/4' bit into the chuck, but the motor sure doesn't have the power to drill with one anyway. 1/8' is ok, I guess, but getting large. 1/16' and smaller, and this thing really shines.

A little big for watch parts, but not much. The belt on it is rather long, and if you need one, you're going to have to make it yourself. I had to make mine from urethane tubing spliced to fit. $80 is a steal. Never seen one for less than 3x that in the past 10 years.
