In order to reduce shipping costs to something manageable, a selection of Lister engines will be sold by sealed bid in this - and other - forums, collected together in one place in the UK, then shipped out 'en masse' in a container to Dodge City, Kansas. From here, the engines will be sent on their way at the buyer's expense.
((( So instead of paying shipping from the UK (which could cost $x,000s), you'll only have to ship internally from Kansas.))) IS THIS RIGHT //?? Most Lister engines will comfortably fit in the back of a pickup truck, or small van. Some of the multi-cylinder engines might need a bigger truck, but even the chunkiest of engines is unlikely to weigh more than a couple of tons. Hello everyone. I'm the person who was the high bidder on the 'Re: 1953 Lister CS 5/1 serial no.
1991513 - prototype CHP system'. I haven't heard from Dr. Death for awhile.
It seems that he had some personal issues and has checked out for a little while. I hope all is going well with him. I'd still like to follow thru with this purchase if these engines ever make it across the pond. Also, Let me know if there is any other way that I can support these auctions. I live in Houston, TX.
